Virtually Versailles
Through various artistic and olfactory projects, Maison Francis Kurkdjian has enjoyed close ties with the Palace of Versailles for many years now. Today, it is lending its expertise to Virtually Versailles, an immersive outdoor exhibition that will travel the world.
The Virtually Versailles experience is designed as an introductory tour of the Palace and its gardens. Visitors are invited to discover Versailles’ world and history thanks to state-of-the-art technology: augmented and virtual reality, connected bikes, 360° projections, and more.
Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s patronage has allowed for the introduction of an olfactory dimension to this experience through the diffusion of a unique perfumed accord that was specially created for the exhibition: Royal Delight, a fragrance inspired by orange blossom, Louis XIV’s favorite flower.
The exhibition visited Singapore in 2018 (ION Orchard) and Shanghai in 2021 (Xintiandi Style). In 2023, it is traveling to Hong Kong, then on to Macau.
