Give more
to others
From the creation of the Maison, Marc Chaya and Francis Kurkdjian have been committed to discriminated and vulnerable communities.
They embody and disseminate the Maison's humanist values: transmitting a habitable planet to future generations, embracing diversity as a strength, and promoting education and access to art, to foster openness to others and to the world.
These values are expressed through the Maison's various commitments and support for associations. Through these supports, Maison Francis Kurkdjian wishes to embody its mission : to make creation a force for positive change.
Developing agroforestry in Morocco
Adapting Flower Cultivation to Climate Change
Since 2023, we have been supporting an agroforestry program aimed at preserving the cultivation of perfume flowers in Morocco. On the farm of one of the Maison's suppliers, 14,000 shrubs will be planted over 6 years, representing nearly 3,000 linear meters of hedges. These hedges will help retain water, create shade, nourish the organic life of the soil, and reintroduce biodiversity around the plots. This program also helps maintain the economic resources of the flower pickers in the Khemisset region.
Fight discrimination
The Maison supports Ouissem Belgacem, patron of the Le Refuge association, and his actions against discrimination in schools. Franco-Tunisian, former professional football player, Ouissem left his sports career to fight against the homophobia he experienced on the field.
Thanks to the support of Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Ouissem Belgacem travels to middle and high school students in France to impart values of tolerance, inclusion, and equality.
Mediation programs for audiences distanced from culture
Since its opening to the public, nearly 14,000 visitors have been able to discover the history of perfume and appreciate nearly 300 plants that make up the perfumer's palette. Half of the visitors to the Perfumer's Garden are audiences distanced from museums and school groups.
The mediation services of the Palace of Versailles develop thematic visits each year, and Maison Francis Kurkdjian designs masterclasses.
The Maison also supports the educational program 'Graine de Jardiniers' (Seed Gardeners), which allows classes to practice drawing and discover the profession of landscape master.
