The greening of François Villon school complex
Since 2024, thanks to its partnership with Reforest’Action™, Maison Francis Kurkdjian has been supporting the greening project of the François Villon school complex, located in the 14th arrondissement of Paris on the edge of the ring road. Classified as part of the Priority Education Network, the school is affected by air, noise, and visual pollution, and during periods of extreme heat, this mineral environment becomes scorching, impacting the well-being of students and teaching staff.
Thanks to the Maison's support, nearly 300 shrubs, trees and aromatic plants planted over 1700 m² have made it possible to create a micro-forest within the grounds of the middle school, a green barrier between the high school stadium and the périphérique boulevard, and a floral welcome in the school complex. This project makes it possible both to form a rampart against pollution and to create shade and coolness. The middle school students were able to discover the fragrant essences and the pleasure of connecting with nature, by planting the trees and participating in biodiversity workshops led by Reforest'Action™.
Sperm whale preservation
Maison Francis Kurkdjian is supporting the Longitude 181 association to help study and protect sperm whales in the Mediterranean Sea.
Le Jardin du Parfumeur
