Take less
from nature
Everything needed to produce our scented products comes from nature. We need water, living soils, and the Earth's natural riches for our creations to come to life.
It is Maison Francis Kurkdjian's duty to preserve them, to use them in the right quantity, and to ensure their regeneration, to help ensure that the legacy of perfumery is passed on to future generations.
Aware of its dependence on natural resources, Maison Francis Kurkdjian is committed to developing within planetary boundaries, by measuring its environmental footprint each year and acting to reduce it.
« The relationship with Nature is part of the perfumer's work. Our sustainability challenge is to change the perception of what luxury is. To make the customer understand that what is small is precious, what is light is beautiful, and delicate. This change in perception is a collective challenge for our entire sector. »

Create, with a light touch
Maison Francis Kurkdjian has made the sustainable choice to remove cardboard boxes from its shower gels and body lotions, demonstrating its commitment to reducing packaging.
Since 2025, the Maison has offered optional, paid gift boxes, with the funds collected financing reforestation programs in Morocco with our partner Reforest’Action™. Since February 2025, over 40,000 trees will have been planted thanks to this eco-contribution. To optimize resources, the weight of e-commerce shipping boxes has also been reduced by 40%. They are now made from certified recycled paper to minimize the environmental footprint of our shipments.
By 2027, Maison Francis Kurkdjian commits to also reducing the weight of its perfume packaging and caps, and to removing cellophane protection by 2030.
Our Parisian flagship store on rue d'Alger has obtained LIFE IN ARCHITECTURE™ certification. This recognition validates the Maison's efforts in the design, construction, and management of our boutique, in order to reduce our impact on the climate, resource scarcity, and water.
Give materials multiple lives
Maison Francis Kurkdjian is committed to the circular use of materials, to reduce its pressure on natural resources and its use of virgin materials of fossil origin:
- The Maison's perfume bottles now contain between 15% and 20% recycled glass.
- The hand cream tubes are made of 95% recycled aluminum, as are the containers for our home fragrance diffusers.
- This is also the case for shower gel and body lotion bottles, which have included 90% recycled plastic since 2023.
- The Maison's Christmas Candlesticks were made from old perfume caps.
- From 2027, the Maison will offer refill solutions for its iconic perfumes.
The Maison's products and samples are mostly recyclable, with sorting instructions provided on our website. By 2028, all our products will be fully recyclable.
Our customers can recycle their empty products in our Parisian boutiques. Our partner CEDRE will give them a new life.
Maison Francis Kurkdjian is committed to progressing in the recycling and reuse of its ephemeral decors, and giving them a second life whenever possible. Thanks to its partnership with the RES’ART ™ association, labeled "Living Heritage Company", Maison Francis Kurkdjian has given a second life to old Christmas decorations by transforming them into new furniture. Thanks to its partnership with Cycléo ™, Maison Francis Kurkdjian will donate old decors to Paris Hospitals in 2026.
Sustainable and certified sourcing
